This demands a custodial sentence!

Eight people have been charged with the illegal online release of the final Star Wars film before it appeared in cinemas. Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith was leaked onto the internet the day before the film's worldwide release in May.

A defendant, Marc Hoaglin, 36, of Huntington Beach, California, was charged with putting the film on the internet.

Mr Hoaglin could face up to three years in jail if convicted.

California District Attorney Arwen Shoebender said they were also preparing charges against a Mr G Lucas, 61, of Skywalker Ranch, Marin county, CA. He could face 3 concurrent sentences for offences related to releasing Star Wars: The Phantom Menace in cinemas.

Mr Lucas said he would elect to serve the sentences in reverse order.

Hey...
You dissin "tha wars" sonny?

Jar Jar was just a "misunderstood" character. Why they had his part diminished in AotC and then completely removed in RotS is beyond me.

He was always a loner and kept himself to himself. Seemed like a nice sorta creature though really.

Finally, someone agrees that Jar Jar's character was a great addition to the franchise. They got the tone of his voice just right.

Ahh it's Saturday morning and with nothing better to do he says:
How is it possible to serve concurrent sentences in any order - them being concurrent and that?
Or have I missed something?

I think Jar Jar is possibly something we should treasure. Given there was nothing remotely revolutionary in the latest Star Wars , introducing such jaw droppingly dubliously stereotyped character(yes he was) was stunningly new wave. Especially the deleted scene were he gets dragged halfway across a galaxy behind an X-wing.

hola amigo!

It was just an ill-judged swipe at the 'numbering' of the Star Wars films now; I mean is STAR WARS number 1 or 4? Was it always 4?

Impossible as it may be be for anyone of our generation to go back and watch the 'first three' films afresh, and inordinately fond of them as I am...

They're really not very good films!

There I said it, drum me out of the brotherhood. The stories are hokey, the direction appalling, I mean circle swipes, jeezus I ask you, where did Lucas learn direction from? Powerpoint?

Spot on WBB - of course it would also have one of those popular air horns playing the first twelve notes of dixie land that were so popular in our youth.
