Is the BBC doing it's bit to promulgate the notion that the British are a nation straight out of central casting?

The Beebs website reports the news of a new charge of causing death by careless driving. A sidebar lists some common driving distractions including Eating at the wheel or using items like teapots.

Presumably other things to watch out for whilst driving include snagging one's Bowler hat, football hooliganism or being a baddie in an action flick.
