BTW Audi - 2000 to 2006 is seven years. Are they so obviously stung by BMW that they have forgotten how to count or what the definition of consecutive is.
I was on the finish line at Le Mans when Derek Bell and Jack Ickx won in a Porsche 956 in '82 for my 21st birthday- only bettered when I was there to see Brundle/ Cobb/ Neilsen win in the Jag XJR-12 in 1990. I then lost two days of my life, numerous brain cells and my underwear to cheap Cote Du Rhone. Brilliant weekend.....

If you put together both your comments MM... I think they mean that Audi won 6 titles in the period 2000 - 2006.
They're not counting 2003 when Bentley won.
Not particularly clear to the uninitiated - but then these ads appear to be aimed squarely at a very small number of people.
I was also taken by the tacit admission in the Subaru ad that the current Scooby is a pig in knickers looks wise.
